Vintage Aluminum Bottle & Large Cork Stopper Military Kitchen Industrial 16.25"H

This is for a great rare vintage large aluminum bottle with a large cork stopper. We believe this to be a large bottle that was used in the military to hold some form of food/liquid/sweetener/flavoring/extract or something similar. When researching this item on line found another one very similar to this one that still had a paper label that stated it was U.S. Air Force & also had a label that showed it had marshmallow flavor as its contents. There are traces of glue on this bottle where it appears there may have been a similar paper label but is now absent. It does have its original large cork stopper still intact. We have not removed the cork stopper as it seems tightly inserted & didn't want to force it loose. Will leave up to new owner whether or not to attempt to remove. It measures approximately 16 1/4 inches in total height which includes top of cork, bottle alone measures 15 1/2 inches high by 8 3/4 inches across bottom base, cork stopper diameter is 2 1/2 inches across. Vessel does not have any contents. It is very lightweight as it weighs only 2 pounds 4 ounces total. In great vintage condition light scratches, a few dimples here & there, has some old glue label residues on upper wall in one spot, along with blemishes from normal honest use. Please see pictures for more description. A fantastic piece that would display well!!
