The cap’s spinning freely from the ring is mistakenly thought to be broken and open when in fact it’s secured and attached to the inner part of the cap (Child Resistant). To Open: Press the cap down and turn. The first-time press down and turn harder to break free the cap’s inner tamper evident seal from the cap’s ring (Tamper Evident Seal).
