Oil Chiller for Gear Box (Nishijimax Exclusive)
Nishijimax Machines are built to operate 24 hours per day.
This means that the gearbox is always running and therefore the oil builds up heat.
The OIL CHILLER maintains the gear box at a constant temperature thereby extending the life of the gear box directly, and saw blades and up keep indirectly.
Powder Metal Saw Blade Brake (Nishijimax Exclusive)
Since the saw blade is traveling at a high RPM and chip load, a powder metal brake is used to eliminate vibration as the blade enters the cut.
The efficiency of the brake relates directly to machine up time and blade life.
In addition, the brake is oil cooled for long life.
    NC Saw Spindle Feed Axis
    (Nishijimax Exclusive)
The saw blade feed rate is controlled via an AC Servo Motor (5 HP) with Encoder, a Mitsubishi Programmable Servo Drive, and a Precision Ball Screw.
This system offers many advantages compared to hydraulic systems, since there will be no fluctuation for temperature or condition of the oil.
A precise feed rate is entered in during set up and is set in the chip load per tooth.
    (.01 - .20MM).
A feed rate is set automatically by calculating the saw blade RPM and number of teeth.
The system will feed at the proper rate to maintain the input chip load.
Maximum production and cutting efficiencies are maintained due to this system.
The saw head travels on hardened and ground linear rails.
The linear rails are lubricated automatically by the central lubrication system allowing for long service life.

Highlights of this system are as follows:
Mitsubishi Servo Drive and AC Servo Motor
    Precision Ball Screw
Chip Load entry with auto calculation of feed rate
    Blade Housing
The housing is mounted to the massive saw head.
The housing contains the saw blade.
The saw blade is guided into the Work piece by ceramic guides.
These guides provide 6 point contact to eliminate blade wobble or deflection during sawing.
    Saw Blade Lubrication
Saw blade Lubrication is a precision metered system supplied via Air to the cutting edge of the blade.
    No flood coolant is used.
The lubricant is used during the sawing of the material.
    Method
    Precision Drop
    Tank Capacity
    5 L
    Blade Brush
The blade brush is driven from the gearbox so the brush RPM is matched to the saw blade RPM.
    Material Clamping System
The material clamping system is hydraulic and is a 4 point system with both horizontal and vertical clamps.
Proximity switches monitor all clamping functions.
    The clamping pressure is adjustable.

    Clamping Force
    1,257 kg
    Pressure

    NC material Index Axis
The material index system consists of an AC Servo motor (2 HP) and encoder, a Mitsubishi Servo Drive, Precision Ball Screw and gripper vise.
The gripper vise travels on chrome plated cylindrical rails.
As the gripper vise retracts to position the material, the system retracts to prevent rubbing of the material.
Cutoff lengths of ½” to 118” can be preprogrammed.
Trim cuts of ½” to 1-1/4” ban be preprogrammed and the remnant end is approximately 3-4”, depending on cutoff length.
    The stroke is 29-15/16”.
The feed rate is 78 Feet per minute.

    Hydraulic System
A 3 HP motor powers the hydraulic pump.
The tank reservoir is 16 gallons.
All valves are easily accessible via a side panel.
A unique gauge system allows for one central gauge to check all pressures.

    Cutting Job Set Up
It takes less than 5 minutes to completely set up a new job.
There are no mechanical changes that need to be made.
All information is set up on the touch screen panel.
    Touch Panel Screen
The operator screen is easy to use, as well as provides a wide range of performance data and technical support and self-diagnostics.
All machine functions are available for trouble shooting on the panel.
In addition, part counts, bin counts and blade life are displayed.
    Ma
    chine Lubrication
All moving parts on the machine are automatically lubricated at time intervals.
This provides long like of the machine.
If the oil reserve becomes empty, the machine will automatically shut down.
